About CPT

Founded in 2024, the company’s inspiration was its principals playing weekly pub trivia in a ski town over the winter. They were challenged, found an outlet for their competitive spirits, made friends, and won some modest prizes. Realizing that this is also what competitive sailing is about, they created a set of sailing-related trivia questions and a game set up for yacht clubs around the country. CPT's audience quickly expanded to other waterfront settings, museums, private gatherings and more.

The company mission is shared by yacht clubs, sailing centers and other sports-related settings: to provide fun, water-related, engaging experiences to build camaraderie, increase revenue and build enthusiasm for the sport. While many seasonal businesses like yacht clubs, sailing centers, and marinas suffer downturns in activity and loss of bar-restaurant revenue in the winter months, Club Pub Trivia games offer them an attractive activity to draw participants who are naturally competitive, team-oriented, and knowledgeable about the topics included in this trivia game.
